eBoostr eBoostr is a program used to manage the system cache, similar to ReadyBoost in Windows 7, and has some functions similar to ITM (Intel Turbo Memory). This naturally leads to system speed because it allows the user to select devices with faster read/write speeds than HDDs. eBoostr allows you to allocate space for each device and select multiple devices, up to four. A unique feature is its ability to utilize unused RAM due to operating system limitations. 32-bit operating systems only recognize a maximum of 3.4 GB of installed RAM; the rest is unused. eBoostr can utilize this unused RAM, making it a valuable asset for 32-bit operating systems.
Note: The program stopped receiving updates in 2014, and most computers now have sufficient RAM, so this program may no longer be necessary.
