What is LumaBooth?
LumaBooth This is a photo booth program for Windows computers. You connect a DSLR camera, mirrorless camera, webcam, or GoPro to the machine, and guests can take photos themselves in a pre-set sequence. Its key feature is that it integrates still images, GIFs, Boomerangs, videos, and 360-degree footage into a single program, making it suitable for weddings, product launches, corporate events, and any booth where instant photo access and file distribution are desired. Event planning begins with creating the event and selecting the necessary equipment. Then, we can adjust the print layout, add text, logos, illustrations, stickers, filters, and sound effects to suit the event style. The software includes camera control tools and a live view, allowing users to preview subject positions before shooting. They can also set the number of photos per set, paper size, and printing format (e.g., 4x6 or 2x6 strips). Once shooting is complete, guests can choose to send photos via email, SMS, Instagram, QR code, WhatsApp, or AirDrop, or order printing on-site, reducing file transfer steps and ensuring a seamless booth experience.
In addition to standard shooting modes, LumaBooth supports green screen for changing backgrounds, a Mirror Booth mode that uses audio or video guidance, and a Video Guestbook for receiving messages from guests. Some functions connect to multiple devices via Cloud Sync, and there's also an offline sharing mode when the internet at the event venue is unstable. The following requirements are based on hardware recommendations from the developer. Machines that frequently use AI processing, Live View, or video should have specifications higher than the minimum to ensure continuous operation.
- Operating system: Windows 10 version 1903 or later, or Windows 11 with the latest update installed.
- Processor: Must be 64-bit; Intel Core i5 9th generation quad-core 2.0 GHz or higher, or AMD Ryzen 5, is recommended, and should have more than 2 performance cores for video processing.
- Memory: 4 GB RAM is acceptable, and 8 GB RAM is recommended.
