What is WinToUSB?
WinToUSB is the best Windows To Go Maker. It allows you to install Windows onto a USB flash drive or other USB storage device. The installed Windows is a full install, meaning that once installed, it functions exactly like a regular Windows system, allowing you to install and uninstall programs and apps. Furthermore, it can be used on other computers regardless of hardware differences.

Important Note
• Windows 7 is not completely portable; there may be driver issues when booting on multiple computers. Therefore, it is recommended to use Windows 11/10/8.1/8 to create a portable Windows version.
• Windows 7 does not have built-in USB 3.0 support, so Windows 7 must boot from a USB 2.0 port.
• Typical USB flash drives are very slow and take a long time to install and use Windows. We recommend using a USB hard drive, a Windows To Go certified drive, or the SanDisk Extreme CZ80 USB 3.0 flash drive to create a portable Windows experience.
• A Windows To Go drive is bootable on multiple computers, so you can take it anywhere and use it on any computer.
