Syncovery This is Super Flexible Software's file synchronization and backup program from Germany, designed to seamlessly manage file transfer, backup, and folder synchronization between computers, servers, and cloud storage. It solves the problem of data scattered across multiple locations, making comprehensive management impossible—including local files, company server folders, and files across various cloud providers. It supports over 40 endpoints, from Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, Microsoft Azure, Google Drive, OneDrive, MEGA, Wasabi, and Dropbox, to standard protocols like FTP, SFTP, FTPS, WebDAV, and SMB/UNC Network Shares. Each task is stored as a separate profile, independently defining its source, destination, and sync mode. For example, it can synchronize folders from a local drive to an SFTP server and then simultaneously send them to Amazon S3. Users managing multiple data locations can control everything from a single screen. Furthermore, profiles can be scheduled to run automatically or synchronize in real-time upon file changes. The scheduling function runs as a service even when no one is logged in.
What sets it apart from typical file copying tools is its two underlying technologies. The first is Block-Level Copying, which copies only the changed blocks of data instead of rewriting the entire file every time. This saves significant time and bandwidth when syncing large database files or disk images with only minor modifications. The second is Smart Tracking, which recognizes which files have been renamed or moved to another folder and instantly reflects those changes to the destination without having to delete and re-upload, saving time and effort. This tracking database also facilitates two-way syncing because it distinguishes between files that have been actually deleted and those that have just been moved, preventing duplicate overwriting. Backup operations often get interrupted because some files are being opened by other programs, making copying impossible. Syncovery offers a solution with Volume Shadow Copy, which creates a snapshot of the files and copies from that snapshot. This allows you to back up open files without closing the source program first. For files that absolutely cannot be copied, it will skip to other files and loop back until all files are copied. You can set a time limit for retrying, which you can customize.

Fast and stable copying.
- Copy multiple files simultaneously. It can handle 1 to 100 files simultaneously. There's also an Automatic mode that adjusts the number automatically, even while the job is running.
- Database-safe mode. Request exclusive access to the file before copying. If access is denied, use Volume Shadow or wait until access is granted.
Protect your data to ensure it survives any situation.
- Ransomware Protection blocks the deletion or overwriting of an unusually large number of files.
- Versioning. You can keep multiple versions of older files and choose from various naming conventions.
- Recycle bin. Deleted or overwritten files are temporarily placed in the Recycle Bin. There is still a chance to recover them.
- Compress and encrypt. Compress the file into a zip file, encrypt it with AES 256-bit, and restore it using the Restore Wizard.

- It will pause and resume automatically when the disk is full. Free up some disk space and resume work from where you left off on the file.
- Dealing with time zones. Using internal UTC time, there are virtually no issues with file timestamp differences due to Daylight Saving Time.
