What's New:
Nondestructive RAW development.
You can now develop RAW files without destroying the data, meaning you can go back and change development settings at any time, even after adding extra layers or refining your file. Choose to embed it in a document or an external link to reduce file size.
Mixed mask
Easily merge multiple layer masks without destroying them using the add, intersect, delete, and XOR operations. This means that the individual masks you create can be preserved without damage while creating new masks based on those components.
Live net warp
Need to distort an image or file to match the texture of a master template? Now you can use non-destructive warping to do just that, and go back to edit whenever you need to. This is highly effective for mockups, where you could place document files and assemble them onto various textures, such as book or magazine pages.
Normalization
Adjusts lighting information baked into existing normal maps. Excellent as a standalone feature for texture artists, but also allows editing lighting layers created from 3D rendering software.
Fresh mask
Create efficient, non-destructive workflows with large amounts of data using the new Live Masks, which automatically update based on the properties of the hue range of the master image.
Create masks based on specific colors in your image, allowing you to apply adjustments, effects, or simply paint over the automatically created mask in your chosen shade.
Bandpass
Band-Pass creates a mask that highlights the edges within an image. This is widely useful for retouchers working on layers of different frequencies, but it also allows for the creation of artistic effects.
Illuminance
Mask specific areas of illumination, such as particular highlights or shadows (or anything in between), to apply controlled adjustments to those areas.
Saved layer state
A powerful feature that lets you save different visible states of your layer stack, allowing you to quickly review design options or different versions of your work.
Create a manual layer state to save your layer's visibility as it is, or a smart layer state that lets you specify whether you want to enable or disable a layer based on at least one of the following filtering criteria: layer tag, color, layer type, layer name, and lock status.
JPEG XL Import/Export
