What is Nik Collection?
Nik Collection 2024 This is a renowned, long-standing suite of professional photo editing plugins, known for its comprehensive capabilities ranging from retouching images to create film-like tones, achieving detailed black and white effects, reducing noise, and enhancing image sharpness without looking unsightly.
It was developed by Nik Software, then acquired by Google in 2012, and development ceased in 2017. However, in late 2017, DxO took over the Nik Collection from Google and continued development, officially launching a new version in 2018.
It can be used with Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom, and Aperture (but if you don't have Photoshop or Lightroom, you can run it as a standalone program by going to the program installation folder and running it. However, Define, Sharpener Pro, and Viveza will not work and must be launched from Photoshop or Lightroom).
