What is DxO PhotoLab Elite?
DxO PhotoLab 7 Elite is a software program that makes editing RAW and JPEG images easy, delivering the best possible image quality. It provides a comprehensive suite of intelligent editing tools that you can customize at any time. PhotoLab divides its workspace into two parts: PhotoLibrary, which is the image browser and displays complete image information, and Customize, which is used for image editing and adding metadata. However, although it doesn't use a catalog system or import files, it has its own database to store file adjustment information. Alternatively, it can save settings to its own sidecar (DOP format) or to an XMP file.
Another strong point of this program is its noise reduction capabilities. For JPEG files, it uses HQ (High Quality) Denoising, which is the standard level. For RAW files, it uses Prime Denoising, available only in the Elite Edition, and the latest version includes DeepPrime Denoising, the highest level, comparable to or even better than Topaz Denoise AI.
