What is KeyShot Pro?
KeyShot Pro 12 It is a real-time 3D rendering and animation program that produces beautifully detailed designs created using various software programs. It is used worldwide by design professionals and independent artists and is suitable for many industries, including industrial design, marketing, engineering, entertainment, automotive, architecture, jewelry, and packaging.

The plugin also enables Luxion's LiveLinking technology to create a link between your 3D modeling software and KeyShot. After the initial transfer to KeyShot, you can continue working in your 3D modeling application, updating your designs in KeyShot with a single button press at any time.
Typical workflow:
- Import 3D models: Import SolidWorks, Solid Edge, SketchUp, Alias, PTC Creo, Rhino, Pro/E, IGES, STEP, FBX, OBJ, or other 3ds data directly. With support for the widest range of 3D formats and numerous plugins, importing your models is fast and efficient.
- Color the model: Drag and drop over 600 scientifically precise material values onto your model. A real-time view instantly shows how the applied materials appear on your model with accurate color and lighting.
- Choose your lighting: Simply select Environment Imagery (HDRI). As soon as you drag and drop the lighting environment onto your scene, you'll notice the scientifically accurate real-world lighting effects and how that light captures your models, colors, and decorations.

What's new in version 12:
3D Paint – Pressure Sensitivity
Now you can use a pressure-sensitive drawing tablet to help paint your 3D Paint surfaces. Pressure sensitivity can be enabled for brush size, opacity, and flow by clicking the icon next to these parameters. You can apply all of these parameters simultaneously or enable them separately.
Asset List
Now you can select multiple items in your asset list, rearrange them by dragging and dropping, or sort them A-Z or ZA.
Camera Keyframe Animation
Camera keyframe animation is a new type of animation that works similarly to object keyframe animation. This allows you to create complex camera path animations while controlling every keyframe within your animation.

Web Viewer – Automatic Configuration
In scenes with multiple model sets that aren't manually configured, KeyShot now generates a simple configuration when you upload your scene to the Web Viewer, allowing you to quickly switch between model sets in the Web Viewer without having to configure everything manually.
Web Viewer – 360 Upload
You can now upload KeyShotXR to the Web Viewer. Simply render KeyShotXR and attach the [filename].360 file in the upload dialog box.
