What is Adobe Character Animator?
Adobe Character Animator 2022 is a program that uses motion capture to transform people into cartoons. It records your movements and voice using a webcam and microphone, tracking facial expressions, smiles, and movements in real time, and then transmits them to the character. It's so fast that you can live stream while you work to impress your audience every step of the way.

Adobe Character Animator 2022 has several new features.
Body Tracker
Animate characters live using your body. Powered by Adobe Sensei Body Tracker, it automatically detects human body movements using a webcam and applies them to your characters in real-time to create animations.
Smart replays
Replays that occur during recording in a new scene will appear as a trigger bar, replacing multiple take bars to make the timeline simpler, more compact, and easier to adjust.
Head & Body Turner behavior
Turning the head and torso switches between different groups for various views, such as front, side, and rear view of the character, as you rotate your torso to the left or right.
New and updated example puppets
Use the new characters (Al and Sam) in your animations, and several characters (Chloe, Tull, Bongo, Footy, Ninja, Thorne, and Heather) have been updated to support Body Tracker.
