The problem it solves is that typical forecast apps give a single, fixed answer, even though real weather changes constantly and varies significantly over distances of just a few kilometers. You can tap anywhere on the map to get a detailed forecast for that specific location instantly, without relying solely on stations in major cities.

The underlying technology involves combining data from global models like ECMWF, GFS, and ICON with local regional models to create 51 different data layers to choose from, covering wind, rainfall, temperature, atmospheric pressure, waves, and the CAPE index. If two different sources give conflicting results, you can use comparison mode to view them simultaneously, avoiding relying solely on one source. The Premium version takes it a step further with hourly forecasts, a one-year archive of satellite imagery, and 12-hour radar replays, allowing you to review past storms or track approaching rain clouds. The paid version also takes into account topography, such as mountains and mountain ranges, resulting in more accurate representation of the actual terrain than rougher data.
