The new features of Capture One 16.7 (October 29, 2025) are as follows:

Combine MasksMasks can be added, subtracted, and intersected, allowing for more flexible selection of specific points/zones. Dynamic masks (Gradient, Luma range) are also supported and can be integrated into Styles (with minor limitations).
Retouch Tool Tab Update:
- New tabs have been created for Retouch Selector, Retouch Face Skin, Retouch Eyes, and Retouch Teeth to allow for more specific retouching of different areas.
- Retouch EyesAutomatic eye detection; separate processing of iris and sclera; enhancement of iris color; reduction of yellow/redness in sclera.
- Retouch TeethControl the brightness and desaturation of your teeth to create a more natural-looking tone.
- Includes the neck area for blemish removal and even skin.Added an option to include the neck area when retouching skin and removing blemishes.

Clothes masking in People MaskingThis tool automatically selects the clothing a person is wearing from the People Masking window (but it may not be accurate for clothing not being worn).
HSL ReadoutsYou can change the display format of various values to HSL (Hue/Saturation/Lightness) in View > Readout Format > HSL.
PSB SupportSupports reading and exporting Adobe PSB files (for documents exceeding PSD size), with editable files up to 715 million pixels or borders no longer than 65,000 pixels.
Live for Studio Update:
- Keyboard/clicker support in the Live for Studio app (iPad/Mac) makes it easier to control the screen display.
- There is a keyboard shortcut to command “Force to Follow” so that all connected devices display the latest image simultaneously.
- Choose to automatically display your selected image on your Mac on your iPad, and you can also assign a keyboard shortcut.
