About Autodesk Revit 2020
Autodesk Revit is building information modeling software for architects, landscape architects, structural engineers, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers, designers, and contractors. The software was originally developed by Charles River Software, founded in 1997, renamed Revit Technology Corporation in 2000, and acquired by Autodesk in 2002. The software allows users to design buildings and structures and components in 3D, annotate models with 2D sketches of elements, and access building information from a database of building models. Revit is a 4D building information modeler that can be used to plan and track various stages in a building's lifecycle, from concept to construction and subsequent maintenance and/or demolition.
